![]() ![]() So, for Bulbasaur we just put Bulbasaur and Ditto together in the Day Care and we’ll end up with an egg containing a Bulbasaur soon after. Throw any Pokemon with a Ditto, no matter the gender or Egg Group and you are guaranteed to have them breed, and for the resulting child to be the Pokemon you bred with Ditto. Dittoĭitto is the key to quick and easy Pokemon breeding. To speed up the hatching process you can keep a Pokemon with the Flame Body ability in your team, such as Ponyta or Litwick. Eventually they will begin to hatch and you’ll have a new Bulbasaur, hopefully with some of the elements you are breeding for. Keep checking in if you want to grab multiple eggs. Take the egg and hold it in your team as you walk around, there is a fantastic, continuous path available at the Battle Resort as well. ![]() Walk around for a bit, checking in randomly. Once you have the two Pokemon you want to breed just drop them off at the Day Care Center at the Battle Resort. In order to ensure you get the right Pokemon, and making it so you never have to worry about Egg Groups again, you’ll want to use a Ditto. However, this is tedious and doesn’t produce the desired results everytime. When you return there is a chance the egg you grab will contain a Bulbasaur. If you want to breed any old Bulbasaur then you can take yours and drop them off at the Day Care with another Bulbasaur, or another Pokemon in the same Egg Group, which would be Grass. Let’s use Bulbasaur as an example for the purposes of this guide. These will need to be specially tailored to produce the Pokemon that you want. It is really that simple, but the hard part is determining which two Pokemon to leave there to breed. One Day Care is found early on in the game, and another is available at the Battle Resort after completing the Delta Episode in Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. The two Pokemon will then attempt to breed together, and if they are in the proper Egg Groups then an egg will be waiting for you when you return to the Day Care.
